Estonia’s Independence Day
Celebrate Estonia’s Independence Day at the Ice Age Centre! 🇪🇪
February 24th is a special day for all Estonians – a day to celebrate our country’s birthday. This year, we invite you to the Ice Age Centre on the shores of Lake Saadjärv to spend a meaningful and memorable day surrounded by nature, history, and good company. We are exceptionally open on this Monday and welcome you to discover how the Ice Age shaped Estonia’s landscape, creating the hills, valleys, and lakes we love today.
🗺️ Why visit the Ice Age Centre?
Estonia’s landscape is deeply connected to the legacy of the Ice Age – all our hills, lakes, and natural formations were shaped by moving glaciers. If you’re curious to understand how the Ice Ages shaped our homeland and how Estonia might have looked during the time of the mammoths, this is the perfect place to expand your knowledge.
