Polar Bear Day
In the Ice Age Center, we celebrate POLAR BEAR DAY on Sunday, March 3.
At 12 o’clock marine geologist Martin Liira, who has lived in Teravmäki with his family and conducted research there, will show pictures and speak.
At 1 p.m., the artist Peeter Laurits will talk, who will tell us about communication with other forms of life in his exhibition “Something is connected with everything”. The Ice Age Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Jääkaru cafe from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cafe offers a nice lunch and thematic sweets, and an ice cream is spread outside the windows. Saadjärv. Come or come skating and let’s celebrate Polar Bear Day together.
Please indicate your participation on the HERE FORM, then we will be able to prepare a chair for you.
You can participate in the talks with a ticket to the Ice Age Center (€11).
Take time to visit the Ice Age Center’s three-floor exposition!
The invited speakers are really worth listening to and their experiences will be an inspiration to all.
We look forward to seeing you!
We thank the Marine Museum Polar Club and the Estonian Natural History Museum for the nice cooperation!
