On Sunday, November 10th, the Ice Age Centre offers an educational workshop with volunteer firefighters and an exciting flashlight tour in the dark.
Learn what essentials to keep at home in case of a power outage. Then, join us as we explore the Ice Age Centre in the dark and discover how people once lived without electricity.
A fire truck will also be on display outside for everyone to explore, with opportunities to learn more about the fascinating work of rescue services.

Do you know how to stay safe during an autumn storm? Join experts from the Fire Rescue Service to gain practical knowledge and tips for staying safe at home. This engaging workshop, complete with helpful demos, is perfect for participants of all ages!

FLASHLIGHT TOUR IN THE ICE AGE CENTRE

Ever wondered what a museum tour in complete darkness would be like? This Father’s Day, we’ll explore the Ice Age with flashlights, experience life in caves, and search for a baby mammoth! Each step brings new surprises and discoveries from an era before electricity.
