Sunset Raft Ride on the Night of Ancient Bonfires – August 30

On August 30, join us for a peaceful sunset raft ride on Lake Saadjärv to celebrate the Night of Ancient Bonfires – a beautiful Estonian tradition marking the end of summer, when fires are lit along lakes and shores across the country. The Ice Age Centre’s raft will take you on a slow and mindful evening ride to enjoy the view, the moment, and each other’s company.

🌅 The raft departs at 8:30 PM from the harbor next to the Ice Age Centre. The ride lasts about 1 hour.
🍷 Ticket includes a glass of white wine and a small snack table on board.

🔥 The Night of Ancient Bonfires is a cherished tradition where signal fires are lit to honor Estonia’s coastal heritage. On Lake Saadjärv, the event is organized by the Äksi Community and the Saadjärv Catamaran Club. A pop-up harbor café will also be open in the evening, serving fresh local fish dishes.
