Ootame teid rännakule läbi 10 tuhande aasta!

Põnevaid jutte saab kuulata nii eesti, inglise, läti kui ka vene keeles. Virtuaalse külastuskaaslase loomist toetas TAS labi LEADER programm.
Jääaja Keskus – paik, kus rullub lahti 13,7 miljardit aastat ajalugu alates Suurest Paugust.
See on elamuskeskus, mis annab võimaluse näha kliimamuutuseid, maa arengut ja luua seoseid aegade ja nähtuste vahel.
Saab rännata viimasesse jääaega 10 000 aastat tagasi ja uurida, kuidas on aastatuhandete jooksul kujunenud maailma ja Eesti loodus, millised on täna kliimamuutuste põhjused ja kui suur on neis inimeste roll.
Jääaja Keskuses saad teha palju põnevat:
🔹saad teada kuidas oli elu enne ja pärast viimast jääaega
🔹leia majast 25 kogenud külastaja ja 15 lastele mõeldus audiogiidi jutustust QR koodil ja kuula
🔹saad mängida kiviaja inimeste koopas ja arheoloogi kombel liivast luid otsida
🔹näha ja katsuda lumememme toas
🔹nautida pimedat talveööd ja virmaliste mängu olenemata pilvisest ilmast
🔹saad teada miks jääkarud pingviine ei söö (kolmandal korrusel)
🔹mängi Lemming Lempsi otsimisrada ja saa administraatorilt väike kingitus
🔹kuula Peeter Lauritsa näitusel tema jutustusi ja mediteeri pingil või patjadel
🔹mölla lastetoas kivipatjadega
🔹3. märtsil tule kuulama vestluseid Jääkarupäeva puhul
Akende taga laiub jäätunud Saadjärv ja veel saab uisutada ning lähedal on ka tõukekelkude laenutamine. Kohvikus saab mõni lapsevanem ka töökoosolekut pidada sest internet levib meil hästi.

Exciting stories can be heard in Estonian, English, Latvian, and Russian. The creation of a virtual tour companion was supported by the TAS lab via the LEADER program.
The Ice Age Centre – where 13.7 billion years of history unfolds from the Big Bang. It’s an experience center that allows you to witness climate change, the development of the Earth, and make connections between different times and phenomena.
You can travel back to the last ice age 10,000 years ago and explore how the world and Estonia’s nature have evolved over millennia, what are the causes of climate change today, and what is the human role in it.
At the Ice Age Centre, you can do many exciting things:
🔹 Learn about life before and after the last ice age
🔹 Find 25 experienced visitor and 15 children’s audio guide narrations throughout the building using QR codes and listen
🔹 Play in the cave of Stone Age people and search for bones in the sand like an archaeologist
🔹 See and touch snowmen indoors
🔹 Enjoy the dark winter night and the play of the northern lights regardless of cloudy weather
🔹 Learn why polar bears don’t eat penguins (on the third floor)
🔹 Play the Lemming Lemps search path and receive a small gift from the administrator
🔹 Listen to Peeter Laurits’ narrations at his exhibition and meditate on benches or cushions
🔹 Have fun in the children’s room with stone pillows
🔹 On March 3rd, come listen to discussions on Polar Bear Day
Outside the windows, the frozen Lake Saadjärv stretches, where you can still skate, and nearby, you can also rent sledges. In the café, some parents can even hold work meetings as we have good internet coverage.
