Estonian Independence Day
The Ice Age Center is open on the anniversary of the Republic and is waiting for you to visit!
On this day, it is possible to participate in a small trip to Saadjärvi ice with a house ticket. We will gather for the hike in the lobby of the Ice Age Center on February 24 at 12 noon. Please dress according to the weather and wear suitable shoes!
The hike is guided by a guide from the Ice Age Center who will tell you about the life of the lake in winter and the life of animals in winter. If possible, the thickness of the ice is also measured and the depth of the lake is measured. The tour will be held in Estonian.
In warm weather and rain, it can be dangerous on the ice, and the guided tour takes place in the Ice Age Center in this case.
To participate, you have to register in advance and pay for the Ice Age Center ticket on site, which is 7 €- 11 €
