Urmas Tartes

Urmas Tartes is a freelance nature enthusiast and nature photographer. He is a frequent speaker, presenting photo programs about nature, especially insects, to various audiences. Hundreds of nature stories have been published by Urmas in newspapers, nature magazines, and on websites. In 2009, he became the first Estonian to win the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Urmas has a particular interest in the micro-world, which he captures through close-up photography.
