Museum Night

The Ice Age Centre invites you to Museum Night!
Once a year, on a Saturday evening in May, museums and other memory institutions open their doors later than usual (at 18 – 23 )to celebrate the European Museum Night. The Ice Age Centre is one of those places where you can embark on a journey through time, from the Big Bang to the present day.

Sparks Room – Learn what makes up your electricity bill and how renewable energy works.
Lake Balls and Eel – Did you know who lives in Lake Saadjärv? Come and see!
Polar Regions and Explorers – Find out why polar bears don’t eat penguins!
Audio guide in four languages – Listen right from your smartphone!
Treasure Hunt “Lemming Lempsi’s Path” – A fun adventure for younger visitors.
Children’s Room – For resting and playing.
Boat rides on Lake Saadjärv – Departs every full hour until sunset (5 € / ticket).
Café – The newly renovated Ice Age Centre café offers a delicious buffet and menu options for both children and adults.
