Grandparents’ Day

The Ice Age Centre invites everyone to celebrate Grandparents’ Day on Sunday, September 8th!
On this special day, all visitors who purchase a ticket to the centre will enjoy a free boat ride on Lake Saadjärv!
The boat trips will take place at 12:00, 14:00, and 16:00.

You can also explore the centre by following Lemming Lemps’ trail of wisdom, discovering and learning from 10 fascinating stops, or by listening to the exciting audio guide stories on your device. Scan the QR codes to access 40 different stories available in four languages (Estonian, Russian, English, and Latvian). The audio guide will tell you how the landscape began to recover from the ice sheet, which animals came here first, what glacial ice is, and how heavy a mammoth might be.

Starting from September, the Ice Age Centre is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00, and the Polar Bear Café is open from 11:00 to 16:00, including Grandparents’ Day. On this day, the Polar Bear Café will offer a special PANCAKE MENU!
